W124 E220 1995 Alarm

Hi All.

Need some help. I just purchased a w124 coupe e220 1995 model and it has a autowatch keyfob 22500. Blue flashing light on dash when on.

Would this be a factory fitted by mercedes or a after market. Also any idea where the mail unit of the alarm maybe if I want to remove it?

There was no factory fitted for alarms of that era. They were dealer fitted.

Autowatch is not dealer fit.

the dealer fob was rather small rectangular. With two square rubber buttons at the top (lock and unclock). One button was indented and other raised. There was also a red light on the fob and a grey square with the MB logo on it.

As to instructions for removing an alarm. I don’t think you will get much help with that.
