w124 e220 estate ..wheel nuts & brace

as a new owner of a 1994 w124 e220 estate we have had a couple of problems & would welcome suggestions.
We have managed to round off a wheel bolt ! Can anyone advise where we can purchase new wheel bolts & a Better wheel brace compared to the standard wheel brace that is with the car at present . Thank you !

wheel bolts from your local dealership

buy the correct size socket and a short breaker bar and keep it in the car... off the top of my head i think they are 19mm

Agree, but the bolt size is 17mm AF. Always use a torque wrench and tighten the bolts diagonally.
Three other pieces of 'C' wisdom
1) Use a small amount of copperslip on the bolt threads
2) Don't let the car wash guys use the spray wheel cleaner - it contains acid which seeps around the back of the mounting hub and corrodes the exposed thread(s)
3) Don't let the monkeys loose with impact wrenches especially on the long MB bolts

The piece where you say you have rounded off a wheel bolt, do you have a wheel on the car with this problem. ?

thanks for asking. We took car into local garage & they "took off" mangled bolt !
