W124 Engine Harness

I have read, eagerly, all the threads I can on the 124 wiring harness. My e320 K reg refused to start one day, but by jiggling the harness it started and got it home. The harness was a shambles. My chum has rewired the harness,and we get power okay at the plugs, but no spark on turn over. Whats next.................< Nervous icon>

Next move is a new harness. Sorry........ Anything else is putting your ECU, coil packs and possibly engine bay at risk.....
