W124 headlight washer wiper motors don't work!

My headlight washer wipers don't work at all (1994 E320 estate). Is there a quick fix or easy test that can be made before looking at replacements from a dealer?
Any help much appreciated..........

May I ask of you have done any fault finding yet - or are you just reporting?

Is there 12 v at the motor?
