hi, i'm having a problem with the heater in my 1996 w124 e200 namely that i can't get any heat/cold air into the drivers footwell. all the other vents (screen, passenger footwell and dash vents) work fine with hot or cold air but there is absolutely nothing coming through on the drivers footwell. being someone with absolutely no idea of where to start looking any information that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance for any replies and fingers crossed someone knows the answer. cheers, rod.

Quite easy

Hi,
i think the bowden wire on the knob where you set the airstreem to upper or lower is loosen. You have to remove the dash for this. Sorry for my english, it's my first time in an English Mercedes forum... Alternatively visit me in Exeter :)

Cheers,
Oliver
