W124 Ignition Switch

Does anybody know how much an ignition switch is from the main dealers.

Mine is starting to get a bit troublesome to turn without jiggling it.

About £65 keyed to the car. You'll need your V5 to order it. Do it asap as if it fails with the key out you'll be looking at £100+ to remove the lock plus the cost of the barrel

How big a job is it to replace?

I'm seriously considering buying another 300D estate for 'best'.
As late a model as possible.
It will need to have leather, air con and self levelling suspension plus anything else going.
Let me know when you get something in.
