Have just purchased a new repeater unit (front wing mounted, 1996 E280 estate) from MBMD and it came with a replacement cable. Seems a good idea to replace the old wiring: trouble is, I don't know how to instal the cable (can't find anything in usual workshop manuals). Suggestions welcomed!
    Thanks.

This is not an easy job as the cables are routed through the inner wings. the will be nothing wrong with the existing cables, and I would use those, it is a dry location where they sit.

Further inspection suggests 'existing' cable doesn't exist (i was replacing the unit because the plastic 'lens' was damaged), or is lost somewhere in the inner-wing space. Guess this is now a major hassle?

If it has dropped inside then the inner wheel arch liner off, though you may be able to fish the existing one out with a wire hook
