Hello. I've finally sourced a transmission and all associated parts. The attached pic shows the parts that I've got in addition to the transmission itself.
Is there any other parts that I would need? I don't want to get half way and then realise I'm missing a part or two. Is there anything that is missing?
My mechanic is doing the swap for me. He said I might need a pump/master cylinder for the clutch, and the propeller shaft. He's not familiar with these swaps in Mercs so I'm hoping he's wrong.

Anyway, please help!!
Cheers,
Jeff

From what I can see in your photo the clutch master cyilinder is there as part of the pedal box you may need the remote reservoir for under the bonnet or some cars use a combined brake and clutch fluid reservoir, another part you will need is the first motion (clutch) shaft spigot bearing which is normally a press fit in the rear end of the crankshaft. No idea whether you will need a prop shaft depends on relative length of the two transmissions and the coupling type(s).

Hi,
Manual and auto propshafts are normally different, I would be surprised if there not.
I take it you have the slave cylinder and flexi from the gearbox and actuating arm and the pivot pin (i think thats what its called).

Are you changing frpm auto to manual ?
Things to consider
auto's have torque converers andthey are fixed to a flex plate,
manual cranks are normaly balanced together with the crank
you may also want to check if the flywheel and flex plate are the same diameter, do they have the same amount of teeth on the ring gear and starter pinions, as well the may be a different physical size starters
Latter vehicles have different ECU between man and auto
You are brave, i think i would have fixed the auto, but best of luck and keep us informed :p
