Can anyone please help with this issue? 1993 W124 280E saloon UK right hand drive. An occasional untraceable water leak in to the front left passenger footwell. This appears as a small pool of water on the mat, but occurs only after the car has been left parked in a slightly nose up attitude, ie on a hill with the front of the car facing upwards. There is no evidence inside as to where this water is coming from, eg trails of water, nor drips. I have checked all known drain holes for blockages, eg at the front of the sunroof opening, but all seem to be draining normally. There is no water leakage if the car is driven in heavy rain or through a car wash, and it can be left out in the rain without problems as long as it is on the level. Just occasionally I thought I heard a slight liquid splashing sound from somewhere behind the dashboard, but can find no evidence of any water collected somewhere that may be leaking inside. Can anyone please help with advice as to where to look next? Replies please to paul_fi_jackson@lineone.net
