Hi,
I have a 1989 250 TD. As it is approaching 20 years old I have decided that some maintainence before things go wrong, on a time and inclination basis is a good idea.

I spotted a "8 Piece Full Rear Control Arm Kit" on ebay US (link at the end as I was not sure exactly how to parse it into this post).

A couple of specific questions

1) Is fitting these replacements within the scope of a "DIY'er" without specialist equipment ?

2) Are kits like this available in the UK

Plus does anyone have any general comments on this plan ?

Thanks

Nick

If any of the link arms are adjustable you will have to have a full geometry check done.

Only the rear toe arm is adjustable.I would be suprised if many bolts were seized in the bushes.

Any one know if new bolts are likely to come with these kits or would they need to be bought separately ?

Cheers

Nick
