A few months ago, just after I bought my W124 cabriolet, I renewed the seat belt extender guide on the drivers side because it was showing signs of wear and in fact the previous owner had stapled it together to stop it falling apart !!!.
I can now see why he didn't replace it !
It seems that the seat belt webbing cuts through the corner of the rubber (plastic ?) guide as it slides backwards are forwards when it is extended and the belt now gets caught in the slit !
As anyone got a suggestion how I can prevent this ?
