None at the monent, but there's an OM642 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Hi Guys,

I need to remove the side facia air vents from a '93 W124. There appears to be a small 'lever' or clip visible inside the vent, at the bottom. I've tried cautiously lifting/moving this - without success.

Rather than just wading in with ever-increasing pressure (which often leads to cracked plastic!), can someone tell me the correct removal procedure?

Cheers.

Thanks for the picture Malcolm. Just to clarify, it's only the vent 'ends' - items 50 & 53 in the pic - that I need to remove, to get at the illumination bulbs.

Thanks, David.

Hi David, I did not think that there are any bulbs in those as they would be shown

There are 4 clips, 2 upper, 2 lower, and they all need to be released simultaneously before it can be pulled out. There is a bulb to illuminate the airflow thumbwheel

6 arms are useful for this job!
