W124 Towbar plug

Anyone knows if the w124 series had a standard plug fitted in the boot where one connects the towbar loom to or does one need to fit a loom from the engine compartment? This car checks the bulbs (wattage?) and will display a warning light so I would suppose I cannot just run it from one of the backlights. Anyone done towbar loom on the w124 before?

If you are fitting tow bar wireing to any car with a bulb off warning you need to fit a by-pass relay.Very easy to do,instructions on the relay as to were the wires go
