w124 trim clips

Hello all,

The car is in the garage at the moment having the jacking points done (and mot etc).
Further to this I have been told that I will need a few new plastic trim clips. I've not seen them yet but would anyone know the part number(s) that hold the cladding to the body?

If they are the small green type you can get these on ebay as they appear to be pretty generic.

The ones I got for mine are like the ones I put in the ebay link, I got mine from MB part No MA001 988 49 81 £18 for 20. Hope this helps

Do you think the year makes a difference? The part number on the ebay link is different to yours and says up to 1990.

Body Trim Clip

To Fit:

Mercedes 190 Series
Mercedes W124 Series (E Class 1985-1994)
Nothing makes a car look unloved like loose body mouldings.

Specail clips only for the side mouldings for these models.

Equivalent Mercedes part number, A2019880678

The other ones as I can see on EPC are part No A0019884681 they look a bit smaller maybe a difference between saloon and coupe? MB should be able to tell you which ones. both types are in the "year" range.

They managed to recover most of the clips in the end - only broke one.

1. some clips that hold the metallic strip on the rear skirt are gone

2. some clips at the bottom of the passenger's door skirt are gone

Much easier and better if you ask mercedes, as the spare parts guy will double check anyway.
