My E300td 1994 has the usual wear on the backrest of drivers seat, it is navy cloth trim, what is the chance of a trimmer matching this? any names of trimmers or suggestions please, based in North Yorkshire.

Why not buy a new cover from your dealer?

EVERYTHING for Mercs back to about 1900 (slight exaggeration, but close), is available from official dealers.

I have just finished refurbishing the drivers seat on my car.

New covers, new spring box and pad.

The covers are available, the quality is superb, BUT they cost an arm and a leg. i.e. back and bottom cover cost approx. £300 combined, about £130 for one and £170 for the other!

Needs two people to compress springs and insert edges of fabric etc.., and takes longer than you expect.

Cheers,

Richard
