Your Mercedes
E280T 94 2.8
Hi There,

I'm looking at moving on my w124 230TE as its getting a little too prone to faults. I fancy another W124 estate but wondered about a c-class estate.
I use me estate to carry 'stuff' quite often as well as 4 greyhounds.

Anyone know the difference in size between the W124 and C-class estates?

Thanks
Toby

I have a C class (203) estate and you will definitely have to "downsize" the dogs if your thinking of getting one. Four Whippets perhaps....

The C estate is noted as being more capacious than other "compact execs" such as the the BMW three series and the Audi Avant, but it is far from being an estate car in the true sense of the word. The load area is reasonably shaped with no intrusions, but the car is low and the sloping tailgate cuts into the usable space if you are transporting boxes.

I could easily fit more luggage into a Ford Focus estate than the Merc.

Go for the "E" unless the greyhounds like being in confined spaces...( every journey they'll be waiting for the hare to come past):)
