W124 Wings

I'm selling a passenger wing from what i'm told was an Indian built W124, i've read that original German wings have a 3 pointed star stamped on them, is so whereabouts? And do the Indian manufactured wings also have the stamp? Are the Indian wings of similar quality? Cheers.

they are all German wings.

the vehicles were only assembled in India

kits were shipped out from Germany

the star is stamped on inner top a few inches from the rear of wing.

is it a post facelift wing with rolled lips ?

Yes, Facelift with the arch, there's two stamps one is an incomplete circle and the other a sort of triangle. I'll clean them and photograph them tonight, maybe the camera will catch what i can't see.

Here's the wing these are the two stamps, one is a circle and the other a triangle? But i can't see a star. Any ideas, i don't wan't to misrepresent the wing as something it isn't.

the weight of a genuine wing is 4 kgs

the weight of a copy wing is generally 2.5 kgs max

Cheers for that, wing weighs 4.08kg so probably genuine
