W124 Wiper Slowing down

read somewhere and yet cant find it again that the single wiper slows down due to lack of grease, how do I get the cover off to get at those two spindle things (Those are technical terms by the way! )

remove key from ignition so you dont lose your fingers if someone accidently starts the wiper

and use a L shaped lever to get under the plastic,
make sure its not screwed in by anything
it should move up, check the DIY section here for previous posts on the subject
