I posted about this a couple of months ago...my '88 300SE wouldn't start from cold without giving it some revs. After 15-30 seconds held at 1k RPM, it would drive away fine and not stall for the rest of the journey. This issue was mentioned by the previous owner, and has been there constantly since I bought the car in August.
I've been holding off buying a cold start valve or an idle control valve until I'm a bit more sure they will fix it
However...yesterday and today, the car fired up first time I left it a few seconds to see if I was dreaming....it only stalled AFTER I blipped the throttle.
What on earth could be going on?
