Hi there,

I'm trying to gain access to the nearside scuttle/bulkhead on our lovely old 300SE in an attempt to stem an ingress of water. I've removed the glove box, lower dash panel, ventilation ducting, aspirator and speaker. I can get a couple of fingers in and feel all that lovely damp crunchy rusty metal behind the soundproofing. To effect some sort of patch it would be great to also remove either part or all of the blower box. I presume this is a major job and probably where I give up. Any advice?

Just to add, I went back over some of my old posts from the last decade or so, what a fantastic helpful bunch you all are, really appreciated.

Thanks!
