W126 Front Wings

I am currently in the process of resotring a 1987 300se. My front wings have rot not just rust rot...
I didnt really want to buy non genuine parts but I have just been quoted over £700 for both wings... wow!?
I am desperately seeking adivce and would ideallylike new wings as apposed to used. Can anyone with experience of purchasing non genuine wongs please advise who would be the best person to contact?

Hadrians panels do them for £35 each. Just bought 2 for my 280E (W123) quite a snug fit too, well chuffed. Price for a W126 will be in the same region give or take a tenner.

I have been onto Beevers and tey saythat there panels are made using 20 gauge steel.... Does anyone know what the originals are?
