Another question stemming from having no manual!

How do I check the power steering fluid levels on my 84 280SE. I can't find an obvious resevoir??

Some guidance would be appreciated!

thanks

Power steering

If you have air conditioning, your engine will have three belts.

One goes around the alternator on the left as you look at the engine.

The little one drives the air conditioning pump and the remaining one goes around the power steering pump on the right as you look at the engine.

Without airconditioning there will be only two but just as easy to work out.

On the top of the power steering pump, there is a lid with a metal wing nut on it. Undo the nut (you may need pliers as it could be tight), and the level should be about 1-2cm from the top i think.
