This is on both doors! you can hear movment on the inside of both doors when you lock/unlock!

The PSE pump is working!

Not looking at it untill next week, but any ideas before i start???

Its a bit before my time!!

Cheers S/U

Rather than you boasting of how young you are ;) can we get on with the fault ;) when you push the button, was there any resistance from the button.

the button just floats in and out when locked, when unlocked the button pushes the lock release, see if you can feel the diffence when locked and unlocked

No differnce at all Malc!!

So its a switch over year from 126 to 140, should still have an alarm key fob and not just a key unless it is a 126 SEC

Then if the button is up, try banging on the door handles as the release lever has stuck, or on the side of the door quite hard.

The button 108 pushes the release part at the top of the lock 08 in the link.

The vacuum part is separate and here, but nothing to do with this

Normal key, when you turn it to lock the red light in the handle flashes, when you unlock the green light flashes!

If you pull the door handle there will be a hole try wd40 or something similar through that hole, I know sometimes the handle on mine stays in the ope postion so when I close the door its still open.

The action of the lock is only a sprung loaded flip flop device, if the car has not been used in 4 months they could both stick, there is nothing else in the system. the rod in the vacuum part only stops the flip flop action from taking place by holding the locking plate still
