W163 parking brake switch removal.

My intermittent "parking brake on" light and alarm is now a daily occurence. I have neither the money nor the time to waste getting it put on Star so please do not suggest it, plus driving 15 miles to the main dealer with a constant beep beep beep is not on. Has anyone removed this switch and if so can you tell me how? By the way I have given up using the parking brake so it is not sticking on overnight so to speak.

Thanks but that video is for a brake light switch,I am looking for info about the parking brake switch.
