Morning all. When left a few days my 2010 ML350 needs to turn over for a fair few secs before starting on first attempr and sounds a bit slow. It’s fine once driven and starts on the button so gonna change the main battery under the assumption that it’s charging fine. Any rev commendations for best battery/ seller? Also any tips for removal? Not attempted yet but it’s under passenger seat? Many thanks

Yep. As said above it’s a marked difference once I’ve driven a few miles in turnover speed

Compare the prices with a genuine Mercedes battery. You might be surprised. Move the seat all the way up and all the way forward to ease access. If it’s never been out before you might have to make a small cut in the carpet. It’s a fiddly job. The battery has to tilt a lot to get it out, and it is heavy. Mind your fingers!

I used these great price & quick service. Also used by others on this site.
I bought Varta which was in the car originally & lasted 9 years.

My battery is under the driver's seat .... likewise my R Class, which was also a ML underneath.

It’s under the right hand front seat to be clear ;)

There is a Close finance sign on the wall behind the car?

Is that his car, or a picture from a sales forecourt advert? ;)

We could split hairs forever here. The definitive answer is in post #12

It’s both my car and a picture from a forecourt. Appreciate the advice in 12

To close this off I ended up getting oem battery from main dealer£170. It’s a bit of a fiddle but no need for seat out. Long extension and 13mm required for bracket. About 45mins start to finish. Starts on the button now
