W164 Ml320 Saga

Hi have had problem with wipers not working! I have replaced Front Sam, Rear Sam water damage, wiper stalk , bonnet switch! So am at loss what to do next as none of the parts I have changed make any difference :wallbash:
Any ideas please.

Are they new SAMs and did you get them coded to the car on STAR??

Hi thanks for the replies Yes they were coded with star and have had it on star for codes but no codes to tell me about wiper fault?

Do you even know if the wiper motor works?

Is the bonnet fully closed & properly latched? (There's a safety cut-out to prevent damage to trailing edge of bonnet and wiper arms - if bonnet isn't fully latched, wipers won't work).

Another great design, not. In my view anyway. Just an added complication that will fail. Keep it simple, keep it good.

Hi yes the wiper motor works ok ,it will do for weeks and then it has a couple of random bad days.

Yes bonnet shut and have new switch for latch fitted.
