Hi
Anyone know a 'temporary' solution or 'quick entry point' to the W166 passenger side bonnet latch. This side latch is sticking and the usual tapping on the bonnet to get it to relase is a hit and miss success. Its lubricated so may need a new cable... I was wondering if anyone had fashioned a extra zip tie or extra cable pull that can hidden in the grill and pulled to release ...as it doesnt look like there is screw driver access through the grill to get to the latch itself. I know on some MBs you can access the latch from a panel under the bumper but I dont want to be crawling under it or sticking it on a ramp everytime it sticks and Im trying to save a few quid by avoiding replacing the cable for a while longer at least.
