Asking members on the forum ,, I am doing this for a friend whos crank possition sensor was faulty
Taken in for replacment at a Mercedes ind garage that bodged it all up , and making a bigger job than what it was. Chaps stuck now ,,with the prospects of gearbox removal to get the broken bodged up sensor out. They want him to give them the job of removing the box to extract broken sensor .Talking maga bucks to pull the box . Would anyone know if it can be done without gearbox removal if so how. Now the room to get in there is very limited to work on it . This is not the usuall removal job ,those who have had this problem will know whats involved ... Anyone had problems with this plastic sensor ?. Thanks for looking in.
