Just purchased the wife a 2009 A class to learn to drive in! Don't want to teach her in my E class.
Got the car at a good price due to a few problems which I need help with part numbers in order to fix myself.
My local dealership won't give me the part numbers as its against company policy and I have been unable to find the information online.
I need help with coil springs front & back! I don't no how to identify which springs are fitted to the car as there are diffrent options available in terms of height, thickness and coil amount. The dealership said they go by coloured dots on the spring.
The Vin is - WDD1690072J727580 if anyone can help!
Thanks

I'd just buy springs of a decent make from a decent supplier, likely to be the ones MB fitted anyway.

Bilstein, Monroe or similar

Looking at Eibach Erl springs on Autodoc! I can do the whole car for £80. Also looking at the Bilstein for £100.

Had the whhels of today looking for colour marks on the springs. The rear have 3 red dots but there was no viable marks on the fronts. Any ideas what the fronts will probably be?
