W170, SLK320 n/s rear fog light

2000 model.

I have only had this car for a few days..

One thing I noticed is that the n/s rear fog light is not working. On further inspection, the bulb is in place and ok. However, there does not even seem to be a wire to the plug connection (top connection) that would connect up with the bulb.

So presumably this has never worked - is this intentional? seems strange that MS would even fit a bulb!

Only need by EU law on the outside of the car, at least you have a spare bulb now

You could always splice into the other side and run a cable over to the other light i have done this on my C230K, It now has both rear fogs working.
