So I finally got my Mercedes and I absolutely love it. It's a fantastic car for an entry level but I do have a few questions.

1) I can't seem to find the option anywhere, and when linking the phone to the car via the CP/AA USB slot nothing happens. When I go onto my Mercedes Me Shop App, it says I can purchase CP/AA for £300! I am still awaiting for the new V5 before Mercedes can activate my 'services' too. I was under the impression that Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto came as standard on the model I have (AMG Line Premium). Is this not the case? And as second owner, do I have to repurchase it?

When you say "entry level" I assume you are meaning that an A Class is the lowest model in Mercedes range, but you do not have entry level trim spec. :)
I cannot comment on your specific problem because I do not use the features, but can confirm that your model definitely does have Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard.

I thought it did, so why do I have to purchase it for £300? The previous owners info is gone, and my account is linked to the car but no carplay or auto... Is it because Mercedes haven't activated my services yet?

That's technology for you, you think you should be in charge of it whereas the opposite is often the case.

All in name of progress.

Did you buy the car from a main dealer, if so they should solve the issue. If not from a main dealer Google could be your answer.
You haven't mentioned if you wish to use Android or Apple but.
