Hi
On my 190d if I lock or unlock the car from the drivers side, all the doors unlock/lock apart from the front passenger side door.
If I lock/unlock the car from the front passenger side door then all the doors unlock/lock fine.
When i use the key in the lock on the passenger door the door pin that goes up and down will move to the up position on unlock but when I remove the key it goes down again in the lock position.
It only stays up when I open the passenger door from the inside handle.
I think it is the central locking device in the door that sends the door pin up and down rather than a vacuum leak but I would like your thoughts anyway.

Sounds like a faulty passenger side central locking solenoid to me too.

Hi Everyone
I have bought sh solenoids for each door and boot off Ebay although I only need to change the passenger one.
I have tried two more solenoids in the passenger door and the thing still won't lock/unlock from the drivers side.
I suspect that I have a vacuum leak on the passenger side.
If I unplug the vacuum cable off the passenger door solenoid then the door opens and locks easily off the key on the passenger side door but when the cable is plugged back in the door is very stiff to lock/unlock from the key almost like a vacuum blockage.
Any ideas
Thanks
James
