The fuel gauge on my 190E started wiggling about a few weeks ago as if it was in a dance competition, so with help from this forum I took the sender out of the tank and cleaned it. The fuel gauge now tells me how much petrol I have left instead of showing me what a good mover it is! It was a pretty easy fix and I took a few photos as I went. I've written it up and attached it to this post in case anyone else ever has this problem. I think several mercs of this era had similar senders. I hope someone finds this useful! Happy motoring!
