Why does the W202 seem to be plagued with so many electrical problems.
I have had countless problems with it since I have had it, all electrical.
Now its the drivers window. When pressing the switch, you only hear the motor making a ticking noise, but does not move the window. I tried the 10 second reset procedure after battery disconnections and still does not move.
I also have the low coolant light come on, whic is causign the electric cooling fan to run at full speed and at long at times. I have read on other posts that the Windscreen Washer fluid low level sensor is causing this (I only now realise after replacing the cooling fan, the temperature sensor, the low coolant level sensor, thermostat, and fan control unit) so need to get one of these.
I also have the famous BAS light come on after driving it for a while, it only seems to come off if I disconnect the battery, but would come back on if I drive for like 2 or 3 days. I have seen on various posts that this is the stop light switch.
