W202, C43 Alarm

Hi,
I have at long last decided to tackle my dodgy alarm on my AMG, I have been getting a few spurious alarms, which made me realise that the siren was defective.
So having replaced the siren it now chirps on arming and disarming. Now I believed that these cars did,nt do this, so why is mine? puzzled.

i think that this is possibly a coding issue on the new sirn will check my info on monday and let you know

Hi mercs,
Well i have done a bit of searching and i think my car is programmed to Euro spec. on my option list i have a Dealer code which says the original main dealer was in Gibraltar. So if my car is indeed programmed to Euro spec what else have i got or not got as the case maybe?
I thought if it was Euro spec programmed my digital odometer and trip would be in km's

you probably wont find much else is different as Gibraltar is governed by the british and i think they use miles would not worry too much

As mercs the siren sounds when alarm activated when siren not coded to great britian.

the alarm on my C43amg has started going off at around midnight. so i unlocked the car to no avail. any ideas please welcome

Try disabling the interior movement sensors via the dash switch, then try arming again
