w202 drivers door mirror disassembly

Hi all, my drivers electric mirror is not working in one direction and i was wondering if it is possible to dismantle it, to see if it can be repaired, the mirror tilts up and down but will not move from side to side electrically, would there be an easy fix for this ?
also how do the mirrors come off the car ?
