Hi Television, G-Man, Motard Man and Hibbo,
I had a B Service today and my climate control works again at long last
It was indeed the cabin sensor which had failed
My wife will be be very happy now as the two temparature settings (VERY cold or VERY hot) drove her nuts.
Being a sweaty sock (Jock) I just tended to leave it on cold all the time - it reminded me of home. This approach also had the added bonus of giving us a nice surprise at the end of a journey when we would open the doors and find it was actually several degrees warmer outside than it was in the car.
So that plus a steering damper were the only things in my service - a relatively cheap 10,000 miles.
