W202 Main Beam Prob

I have a 94 " w202 saloon the right head light works for every thing but main beam its not the fuse or the bulb i have checked the left front left light its ok

the right park light works ,the fog works , the high beam works but not the main can any one help

i think it may be a relay

Take a look at the lamp control module, if you take it out then the other lamp should not come on

thanks i have checked that and you are right every thing in the lights work execpt the main beam and high beam in both lights .when i put it back in the left works again but not the right light . is it an expensive fix or can i do some thing my self

Are the contacts clean? Check for voltage.

cleaned all contacts and i have voltage . but the voltage is all over the place 11 volts and up to nearly twenty jumping evey were . i tryed a new earth and supply but no joy . the fuse went both times . i thing its the control module all right

its a strange one had me scratching my head for a few hours yesterday in the cold
