W202 NSF WING

My fantastic W202 C280 v6 is starting to show signs of corrosion, mostly on the nearside front wing. The rest of the car is pretty good. I have been tempted to sell the car and buy a big engined W204 but I've had the 202 for 11 years and still love it, also much cheaper to fix it up than replace it.
I'd like to have the wing replaced and the other "slight" bits of corrosion sorted by a really good body shop. Does anyone have a recommendation for such a place near to Walsall, West Midlands ?

Thanks om613. I'd take you up on your offer if l planned to do the work myself - l think it's relatively easy, but I'd need to get it professionally painted (unless it happens to be metallic Titanite red and "looks right" once fitted). So l think I'll end up going to a body shop. It's a case of finding a good one and one that doesn't merely see the car as an old banger - it's far from that, that's another reason to fix it to a high standard.

Metalic paint is a pain to get right . My car paint work is not right after 2 paint shops had a go at it after i replaced the front wing and had work done on the rear wings . So G/C let me know if you find a good paint repair shop i need one also . Just pick a wing up and let the paintshop do the rest .. Thats what i did . Good luck with the paint shop . I hear of a good paint mixing shop in Telford .

Thanks. There was a company called Brico in Aldridge who did some excellent work for me several years ago. They closed down but "seem" to have reappeared in Walsall l suspect. I hope to make contact in due course.
