w203 2005 cockpit in 2004 model

hello benz lovers

i was wondering if a instrument cluster of a w203 2005 fits in a 2004 model. does anyone know?

Also, when i use the blinker light to the left, it doesnt stay on. the lever does not stay down. what could that be? just a damaged lever? do i need to change that whole thing behind the steering wheel?

I doubt the instrument cluster would be interchangeable. What you do need is a new indicator stalk (be careful there are two types depending on chassis number) this requires the removal of the air bag, steering wheel, clock spring and then the indicator stalk. Not too difficult just be careful not to disturb the clock spring and lock in in place before removing, YOUTUBE is your friend here.
