price wise - I checked for my CLK and the prices start from £600 onwards till £2000 if you need new bumpers and even more if you want the twin exhausts at the back!
i missed out on one on ebay last night... brand new amg KIT went for £500!!!!
My other half put me off.... said it was better to spend the money on an in car dvd or something............... that I can actually use rather than a bodykit for others to see!
i have never tried the shades on.... but i can associate with "reflection from shop windows"
I would go for body kit ... you can always get a sound system as christmas present (make sure your family knows what sound system is in your wish list) !!! .... car loooks are important....think about it ....why do people buy ferrari when you can get same performance from twin turbo, super chipped Toyota Supra with upgraded exhaust, air intake and ofcourse performance brakes to match the stopping distance!!!
check out the mercedes performance web link, they have pictures of your car with different body kits, maybe that would convince your other half!!!
trust me guyz i can see your point..... I think it comes down to priorities really.
If i had loads of cash spare i would definately go for bodykits and the like. However sometimes i think its best to wait until i can afford a proper AMG!!!
Decisions decisions.....
p.s. Im going for the AMG spoiler for the w203. Only £120 + paint from the main dealer.
