First, I will preface the question by saying I checked the search, but didn't find specific answers for my questions. One reason could be that I'm not using the proper terminology (I'm from the US, now living in Germany, and from London originally).
I'm purchasing a w203 c200k sedan (four door sedan/saloon) in Germany. I need a trailer hitch for it for my mountain bike racks to be mounted to. Unfortunately, the US versions are a completely different animal, so I'm looking for advice, hoping they are somewhat the same over for you guys as they are in DE.
First, where are the hitches available inexpensively? Second, wiring harnesses: I would not want to use the type that use those awful speed clips that make contacts by cutting the wires. I've had a nightmare of a time rewiring the back end of one of my old cars because of the damage those clips did to the wiring. Are there good quality harnesses available?
