w203 C220 cdi (02 reg) please help?

Hi

after picking up a C220 Classic cdi at auction today I have noticed a couple of problems!

firstly the drivers elec seat doesnt work, do motors fail regularly or could it be the switch?

also the srs restraint warning light keeps coming on, is there a sensor that might need changing?

the car is a smashing vehicle to drive, just feel a bit let down over those items, but then thats the problem with an auction I guess!

The passenger seat workks fine, but im geting nothing out of either switches on the drivers seat (which is a real pain as the current driving position is awful for me)

There is a problem with the wires in the seats it's worth checking.

seats were nothing more than a fuse, still have problems with my srs light, it only comes on if someone sits in the passenger seat, but you can get rid of the light by braking hard when no one occupies it! strange..... any further help would be great!
