My drivers door lock keeps "popping" when opening or closing the car, takes about 3 goes to open or lock it.

What is causing this and how to fix?

They sell the spring that break on Ebay, better than a whole new motor

I used to have this problem aswell, What I do is spray some WD40 down the shaft of the button on the top of the door, maybe every 2 or 3 weeks, this has cured the problem for me. No more bouncing locks, dont know how it works, but it does
