Pardon my lack of observational skills...........
I downloaded the attached photo below from a well known on-line encyclopedia and shows a facelifted W203 saloon circa 2005-7.
I dont ever recall seeing this model with the orange colour front bumper side indicators. Or are they just reflectors?
Either way, I dont remember ever seeing this feature. Is it a non-UK spec or what?
Could I get them fitted to my late 2004 W203 I wonder? I think it looks good. :p

They are standard in some other countries, the other car plates look USA

Well, I DID say my observational skills were lacking............
I didnt notice that ! ! ! ! ! !
What chance have I got ? ? ?

I think you are all correct in your assumptions that its a US spec model.
I would still like to know if its possible to get hold of and fit these as I think they look good.
Or would that contravene UK lighting laws? I bet it would...........
Damn!! :-( :-( :-(

Thanks for that.
In which case I might as well forget it. They would not be allowed in the UK unless they are white/clear in colour.
Damn again ! ! ! :(

Running lights are headlamps at 66% brightness, they are not amber

I know exactly what scousetechie means.........I have also seen a fair few YankTanks driving around with amber coloured front side lights. Its probably OK if its an import, but not on a UK registered car. I would guess the Volvos you have seen were probably also imports.............and possibly US speced as well.........
You see loads of US speced cars in Norfolk and Suffolk around all the US air bases........... :p
