W203 fuses

Amazingly, the 6" thick manual gives no fuse chart ! It does, however, grudgingly say that the fuse plan is located on the back of the fuse cover.

But where the fuses & cover are supposed to be located, i.e. at the passenger end of the dash, there's an airbag ! So maybe it's at the driver's end, if so how is the cover removed ? There's no sign of any catch etc. as per the pic in the manual.

What type of W203 is it? My coupe fuses are in the left hand compartment in the boot area.

There is a fuse board in the o/s dash, just prize the cover off!!

Fuses also in the cargo area of the estate where the tools and first aid kit are located.

Thanks, Canute, Nick and Sam ! The car is in fact an estate, so I can now investigate further.

There's no problem at present, but it seems a good idea to know where the fuses are.
