W203 heated rear windscreen

hi all new to this site so i said i would give it a go, I have a C200 Cdi 2005 and it seem to be faultless bar one really annoying fault, early morning and i turn on my heated rear screen and it interferes with my audio reception. I have came across this problem previously in a 2004 W211 e class, does any one know how to solve this problem, any suggestions would be much appreicatied

Hello and welcome, the cure is to run it for ½ hour with 17volt connected to the screen, disconnect the wires first

I have not heard of that one malcolm, wot is the theory behind it?
