Hi MB club 
My c230 kompressor's key fob won't turn. There's no recognition "wooh" sound when I put the key in, and then it doesnt turn. It used to do this when I had a bad battery, but I replaced the battery. I checked the voltage and even left it on charge but it made no difference.
Before it went completely dead, I was able to start the car, but all electronics didnt work after I did. For example, when i turned the key to the 2nd position, I was able to see the amount of fuel in the car (the fuel gauge worked), but after starting the gauge just went flat. Windows also didnt work.
Now the key isnt turning. I have disconnected the battery and connected again, but no clues. Other forums say it may be the key but the issues just before it died were a bit different
