Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the parking sensors on my w203 2006. Icarsoft is showing me the connection to one of the front sensors is bad or the sensor has gone bad. After switching sensors with another front sensor it gives me the same fault code for the same sensor position, which means the sensor isn't the culprit. After reading online I found that moisture might have gotten in the connector that all the front sensors connect to and it should be located somewhere behind the front right wheelarch. Can anybody help me pinpointing where that connector is exactly located?

those parking sensors have three contact wires usually, and if they get water in them (which is common) they rust and don't carry the current/signal correctly, this can cause a short in the parktronic system which causes the problem, you could try and clean those connectors thoroughly and lightly grease to keep water away before refitting

the connectors themselves are directly behind the sensor as the sensors plug into them, so check each sensor/connector in the problem area and you'll hopefully identify the problem through a process of elimination

Thanks for your input, I didn't mean those connectors. I already tried cleaning it and I also have replacement sensors but no luck.
The wires of each individual sensor run somewhere behind the wheelarch into another connector and then into the PDC module. I'm trying to find that one bc water can get in that and corrode the wires.
