Can anyone tell me how to remove the front side air vents in my w203?

I am trying to get at the 12v feed to the courtesy light in the glove box and run a feed from that back to the centre consol to power my new bluetooth car kit.

The glove box light seems to be the only place to get at a 12v feed that is ignition switched.

As an alternative to the removal of the vent - if anyone can tell me where I can more easily get access to a 12v ignition feed I would be grateful.

Why not use the ignition feed? (sraight from the ignition) Use a multi meter to find a switched live, run through an in-line fuse (any good factors or Halfords).

Or use the switched live on the radio.

The cigar lighter shares the same feed as the radio on MB's, and easy to get to. if you want a unswitched feed use the main headlamp switch.
